After receiving A QUARTER OF A MILLION NOTES in their announcement post in a single day, Tumblr has just announced that they are rolling back the changes on how reblogs work in the platform.

Sometimes protesting works, folks.

Oh such a lovely day.

There is this weird idea that pops-up from time to time when the right "thinkers" want to justify the US murdering some people: "it's the only way to free people from communist dictators, is not that they are going to let you vote them out" or similar.

But the fact is that literally, every single communist dictatorship that have transitioned to a "capitalist democracy" had done it ... By voting in free elections organized by their local communist government.

On the other hand, every single communist government that have won an election and have the people support to start economic reforms, every single of them, have been blow up to smithereens by the US empire and its allies. Every single one.

The propaganda when you live in the imperial core is strong. But history is history, and the data is what it is.

To be clear, I'm not saying that Tumblr is going to die or anything, but it's odd that it has been down for 1+ hour

I think everyone left in Tumblr staff (the twenty people or so) is either in Europe, South America or US east coast, so something may have gone bad just when no one is at working hours anymore
